Bio

Hey! I am Graham Brooks, a Security and Systems Engineer working in the logistics and transportation industry. I have ten years of experience in IT, six of them dedicated to cyber security, mostly in GRC and infrastructure hardening. I have built SOC 2 compliance from scratch and survived multiple audits, and I live in the wild world of DevSecOps. Most of my workdays go into reviewing pull requests, writing Ansible, and crawling through mountains of documentation. I am obsessed with Linux, and I am an active advocate in the privacy and open source communities. Before that I worked as a Sales Engineer and Solutions Architect, doing everything from live demos of security products to teaching vulnerability management at VIT-AP University in India. I am moving back toward presales deliberately. I hold a CISSP, an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, and an RHCE.

When I am not at work I am in the gym, on a run, or with my family and friends. I live in Moscow, Idaho with my wife and our son. Powerlifting is the habit I have kept longest, because the bar does not care how I feel about it that morning.
